Today is Remembrance Day in Canada, Veterans Day in the US, and many other nations are also celebrating their own holidays to mark the service of those who have sacrificed for us in war. That being the case, rather than do a post today, I would simply like to link readers to the transcript from my column yesterday on CBC’s Radio Active, which focused on a healthy, mindful approach to not only today, but the rest of the year as well.
I would like to close by thanking all of those who have volunteered to put themselves in a danger in the pursuit of a higher cause. When viewed in a healthy way, these sacrifices can help all of us achieve better days, free from war and strife.
Lest we forget.

A serious childhood brain injury lead Scott to spend his entire life meditating on the concepts of thought, consciousness, reality and identity. It made others as strange to him as he was to them. When he realized people were confused by their own over-thinking, Scott began teaching others to understand reality. He is currently CBC Radio Active’s Wellness Columnist, as well as a writer, speaker and mindfulness instructor based in Edmonton, AB where he still finds it strange to write about himself in the third person.
